Xiaomi gave a minor boost to its smartphone accessory line up with a couple of power banks that have 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh capacities. Both these new power banks come with dual and triple inputs via USB Type-C and micro-USB ports. Also, these support 18W fast charging tech and advanced 12-layer circuit protection besides a smart power management feature.
While the Mi Power Bank 3i with 10,000mAh costs ₹899, it’s 20,000mAh is priced at ₹1,499. Both will be made available from Mi.com and Amazon India in Black and Blue colour variants.
The dual input ports in Mi Power Bank 3i with 10,000mAh are Micro-USB and USB Type-C. Out of these, the Type-C port doubles up as an output source for smartphones. What’s more is that the power banks have two-way fast charging feature that lets the power banks charge itself fast and charge other phones fast as well, simultaneously.
Some other features mentioned are aluminum alloy case to resist collision and impact. It also has an anodised finish, which makes it sweat and corrosion free. Also, there is a low-power mode to charge products like earbuds and fitness bands. As per Xiaomi, the 10,000mAh variant takes almost four hours to fully charge while the 20,000mAh version takes around seven hours.
And besides launching new power banks, Xiaomi has also cut the price of 20,000mAh Redmi PowerBank. This was launched at ₹1,499 back in February. However now, you can get it for ₹1,399 from Mi.com, Amazon, Flipkart, Mi Home and retail outlets.
