Next Thursday, we all can jump into post-Brexit London and join the Resistance community for a big war against those who try to take over the city and turn its people into slaves. Watch Dogs Legion will be out on October 29 and the reviews of the game will be published the day before launch.
Revealed by OpenCritic, the reviews for Watch Dogs Legion will go live on October 28 at 7:00 AM EST. Regarding the fact that the game doesn’t have heavy multiplayer content, it’s expected to see most of the reviews coming out the day before launch.
It’s been really long anticipation for the fans of the Watch Dogs series to finally get their hands on the latest entry of the franchise. The game was first supposed to be launch in March 2020, but the developers delayed it to later 2020 in order to have enough time for improving the game’s visuals for next-gen consoles.
The most iconic feature of the game is surely its unlimited number of playable characters. As a part of Resistance, one of your jobs is to recruit new members and use their various abilities to complete the mission objectives. Needless to say, you can recruit anyone you want in the city and play as every one of the Resistance members in your crew.
Ubisoft has put a lot of effort to recreate London with post-Brexit and cyberpunk vibes, which gives it a more cutting-edge look than previous Watch Dogs games. However, the real challenge for them would be delivering a compelling story for a game that has many many playable characters. I’m really excited to see how the branched story modes of the game will work at the end of the day.
Watch Dogs Legion will be available next Thursday for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions will arrive on November 10th while the PS5 version will be available on November 12th.
