The World of Warcraft-themed spinoff of popular board game Small World is out now. Dubbed Small World of Warcraft, it uses its original game mechanics alongside the theme of World of Warcraft. Playable races include Orcs, Dwarves, Worgen and Trolls.
Players choose combinations of special powers and races from the Warcraft universe, like Herbalist Panderan, and fight for control over Azeroth.
“Working alongside Blizzard has been an amazing experience. Not only did our vision for the game align quickly, but the creative work we’ve done together has been intense and extremely satisfying,” said Adrien Martinot, head of Days of Wonder. “Blizzard allowed us to dive deep into the rich Warcraft universe, and I’m eager to see this incredible cooperation come to light with the game’s release.”
Small World of Warcraft is designed for 2-5 players and games typically take between 40 and 80 minutes to finish. It has a price tag of $59.99 (roughly Rs. 4,411).
