Resident Evil Village is certainly one of the most anticipated horror games of 2020/2021 but unfortunately, we still do not know when exactly the game will arrive to PC and consoles. Capcom confirmed that the game will release sometime in 2021 but that’s a pretty vague release window and we will have to wait a bit more to find out when the game is dropping.
And while we wait for the official confirmation, we have some good news from a reliable insider Dusk Golem, who previously accurately revealed details about Resident Evil Village and other Capcom-published games.
Dusk Golem claims that Resident Evil Village was initially scheduled to release in January 2021 but had to be delayed due to COVID-19, just like many other major releases this year. Luckily, it seems that we won’t have to wait for the second part of 2021 to get our hands on Resident Evil Village.
Apparently, Capcom are currently targeting 1H 2021 release window for the game, so expect to see it sometime before July 2021. Of course, this is yet to be officially confirmed by Capcom so take it with a grain of salt, just like any other rumour or leak. That being said, Dusk Golem is pretty reliable when it comes to horror and Capcom-published games, so it would not surprise us if he is also correct with this info.
