Pokemon GO Sawsbuck and Deerling are introduced to the game for the first time in the new Autumn Event.
October is shaping up to be a busy month for Pokemon GO players. Spotlight hours give players the opportunity to catch unique Pokemon throughout the month, and Pokemon GO’s Autumn Event has already kicked off. The event began on Friday, Oct. 9 and runs until Monday, Oct. 12.

The event brings a bunch of new features, including increased spawn rates for Pokemon like Oddish, Vulpix, Bayleef, Hoothoot, and more. There are also event-exclusive shiny forms of Vulpix and Ninetails. The seasonal Pokemon, Deerling, also makes its debut.
Deerling and its evolution, Sawsbuck, are making their way to Pokemon GO for the very first time. The season Pokemon have different forms for each of the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The forms of these Pokemon are tied to the season, so players should only expect to encounter Autumn Deerling and Sawsbuck until winter.
Sawsbuck and Deerling have different appearance depending on which seasonal form is encountered. Their Spring forms are adorned with pink flowers. Their Summer forms are green and grassy. The Autumn forms, which are in the game now, are orange with fall leaves. The Winter forms, which should be appearing next, are icy and white.
