Today, May 6, has seen the National Lottery website and mobile app go offline and leave players around the world unable to enter tonight’s draw
It seems the National Lottery website and app in the UK has gone offline today, leaving people throughout the British Isles unable enter tonight’s draws.
The issue appears to be affecting the National Lottery website and app according to independent outage monitor DownDetector.
As well as being unable to enter tonight’s upcoming draw, users are also unable to check the results from the Euromillions draw last night.
The National Lottery has explained the reason for the outage: “Due to a power failure in the Watford area this morning, some of our services have been affected – including our website and Contact Centre. We are working to get services back up and running as quickly as possible and are really sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
“Our online services are temporarily unavailable. Sorry about that – we’ll get you back in the game as soon as possible,” a message reads when you try to boot up the page.
We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear more about the issue – it may take some time for the site and the app to come back online if a power outage has disrupted servers in the Watford area.
