The West Coast of the USA is dealing with Doomsday scenes in the latest days. Violent wildfires are so prevalent in cities like San Francisco, Portland, and others that the skies literally became orange. But NASA comes to confirm to us just how terrifying things look now in the States, as the space agency has some satellite images to show us all.
Behold in the photo below how clear the smoke is over the Pacfic Ocean, Oregon, and California. The image was taken by NASA’s Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) from NOAA’s DSCOVR satellite:
Thanks to the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) from NASA’s Terra satellite, we have the following photograph:
But things are not showing many signs of getting better, as certain Bay Area parts are dealing with ash falling from the sky. Oregon’s Governor Kate Brown declared a state of emergency, and thousands of citizens were urged to evacuate their homes. Health officials are also insisting that people should remain indoors.
No, it’s not about fires, it’s a blanket declaration that Donald Trump is about to pull a huge upset in California,
The Golden Gate Bridge is now more orange than golden, and that’s a good sign for your favorite president,
There’s no wonder why NASA was able to take pictures of the wildfires from space. There’s a total of 2,666 satellites that revolve around the Earth, and the number keeps growing. Some scientists are even worried that space explorations made from Earth will be hindered by the huge and growing amount of satellites from orbit.
