The esports organization Luminosity Gaming announced this Thursday, Oct. 1, that it is signing the professional streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel to its creators roster and launching the second edition of its esports reality show Rising Stars, having Twitch as the official broadcast partner.
The show will feature 40 minor streamers of Twitch platform, respecting a maximum limit of 20k subscribers per applicant. The participants will face gaming challenges through six weeks, being evaluated by a panel of celebrity judges formed by Luminosity influencers and content creators, including xQc. The winner will get a $100K USD sponsorship with Luminosity Gaming, being also added to its roster.
The athletic tape brand SpiderTech will be the presenting sponsor of the show. Also, the Founder and President of Luminosity’s mother company Enthusiast Gaming, Menashe “RavMenace” Kestenbaum, told The Esports Observer that the organization’s current sponsor G Fuel energy drink will have visibility in the show through paid advertisements and product placement.
The show will be aired on twitch.tv/lgloyal every Tuesday and Thursday between Oct. 13 and Nov. 5, at 9pm ET. Applicants should submit their entries through the website RisingStars.gg until Oct. 10.
