Our UK correspondent John Mahoney is not ready to join the British secret service just yet, but he was fortunate enough to have a blast in the same car driven by James Bond himself in the long-awaited 007 movie No Time To Die.
But apart from a roll cage and a few other doodads, like a roll cage and fire suppression system, very few modifications were made to the Land Rover Defender stunt cars.
Despite being blasted through the air like a vehicular cannon ball, fired across pristine countrysides and eventually flipped, rolled and crushed under its own weight in the movie, there were no changes to the body, engines or suspension.
Yep, the Defender is a pretty tough machine, and although Mahoney was a little gentler on the car than Daniel Craig, he certainly got the mud and grass flying.
