Laser Light City will see an interactive laser display which can be seen for miles fill the night sky.
And the locations of the seven city centre rooftops which will host the lasers have been revealed.
The high-tech laser display created by BAFTA-winning artist Seb Lee has been seen in the skies above the city during trials for the main event.
The organisers have said that the lights are visible from miles around, while the colours, movement and pattern of the display can be controlled using a smartphone, tablet or computer and watched either in person in the city centre, at home or via a live online video stream.
Light Night Leeds will be presenting Laser Light City from the rooftops of buildings around the city from October 22-24 from 6pm-11pm.
Anyone wishing to watch the display in Leeds city centre must adhere to the rule of six and social distancing guidelines.
