The PSN server status makes grim reading for fans, who have complained about not being able to access the PlayStation Network.
The outage tracker monitors social mentions around certain topics to detect when services go down across the world.
The Down Detector outage map shows that the PSN issues are affecting users in the UK, Europe, the US and Japan.
The problems are so severe that fans have taken to social media to vent their frustrations.
“The PSN servers are down so we can’t log into any online games,” one fan tweets.
The views are echoed by another fan, who writes: “I can’t play or login in #psndown @PlayStation fix yo console.”
“#psndown yeah it’s down still, every time i restarted it says there’s a maintenance. I’m just tryna play. NA E”
“Is psn down for you guys to did it sign you out and cant log in due to error.”
But we think this fan sums it up best by tweeting: “Havent touched my ps4 in a month decide to hop back on it and of course the servers are down.”
Sony is yet to acknowledge the problems on the PlayStation Network server status page, which lists everything as working correctly.
Likewise, the Ask PlayStation Twitter account hasn’t tweeted for days, which suggests the problem isn’t a big one.
The timing couldn’t be worse, as today is your final chance to download and keep Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey for free.
The games are being given away as part of Sony’s Stay at Home initiative, which encourages fans to embrace the COVID-19 lockdown.
