If you’re trying to check your Microsoft Outlook inbox with little luck this evening then you are not the only ones. It appears the hugely popular email service is currently down with thousands of users thought to be affected.
The issues seem to have begun at around 6 pm with the outage affecting more users by the minute.
Independent outage monitor, Downdetector, registered over 6,000 reports at its peak from Outlook fans insisting the service is not working properly.
There’s no word on what is causing the gremlins but it seems the problems have left many users unable to log into their inbox, check emails or send new messages.
As with most big outages, many frustrated fans have now taken to social media to vent their frustrations.
Speaking on Twitter, one user said: “@MicrosoftHelps is outlook down can’t access email since last 10 mins.”
