The vino is expected to land on the planet aboard the SpaceX capsule as part of an experiment launched by a Luxembourg-based company.It was originally shipped to the International Space Station in November 2019
Nicolas gaume, co-founder of Space Cargo Unlimited, said: “Our goal is to find the solution to have tomorrow an agriculture that is both organic and healthy and capable of feeding humanity.
The 12 bottles have been corked and carefully wrapped in steel so as not to break in space and the wine will now remain sealed until next month when it will be tasted and sampled to see the impact of orbit travel.
