Unveiled in India in early August, The Oppo Watch finally arrives in France. Positioned from 249 euros, the Chinese connected watch comes in two cases and three versions, offers health and fitness functions thanks to numerous sensors, but also a very fast recharge.

Sporting a square case of 41 or 46 mm, with rounded edges, The Oppo Watch has a design that is far from unheard of at the moment, but none the less elegant. It even arrives with a silicone strap that clips into the top and bottom edges to accentuate a certain physical resemblance to the tocante of the apple.. It has a speaker and a microphone on the side. Its back is ceramic and polycarbonate, the aluminum alloy frame.
The Oppo Watch features a flat Amoled screen of 1,6 thumb (320 x 260 pixels) on the model 41 mm and curved from 1,91 thumb (402 x 476 pixels) on the model 46 mm. It runs under wearOS with the help of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear processor 3100 and Apollo 3, supported by 1 Go RAM and 8 GB of storage.

Oppo has added some specificities to its variation of wearOS such as the ability to customize the dials to suit your outfit. You take a picture of your clothes and the wallpaper will adapt its colors.
It connects to your smartphone (Android or iOS with some missing features) in bluetooth 4.2 or Wi-Fi for the model 41 mm. The large size is also offered as a cellular model to operate without the need for the smartphone nearby, while allowing to take or make calls.
Like all watches in its category, she arrives loaded with sensors (GPS, accelerometer, cardiofréquencemètre quadricanal PPG, barometer, gyroscope, etc.) to meet the usual health functions, heart rate monitoring, sleep and sports tracking. It takes into account the usual parameters (number of steps, distance traveled, calories burned ...). Note that the Oppo Watch 46 benefits from a superior seal to the small case (immersion until 50 m instead of 30 m).
Athletes can get a detailed analysis of five types of activity (running, swimming, outdoor cycling, outdoor step, running burns fat). By pairing your watch with the Google Fit app, Those are 90 other modes of exercise that can be taken into account. The HeyTap Health app offers a performance dashboard with statistics to know where to improve.
For the less athletic, The Oppo Watch has a fairly fun program : five minutes of exercise adapted to the time of day, the desired goal (warming up, burn categories, stretching before going to sleep ...) or your possibilities.
Like the competition, The Oppo Watch also benefits from a security system for your well-being. If she measures an abnormal heart rhythm, you are warned. It also sends you reminders in case of daytime inactivity for an hour. You can also enjoy anti-stress exercises.
If it appears to be fairly classic about the possibilities, The Oppo Watch makes an argument that may speak to many : charging speed, house marker. The watch can recover 46 % autonomy in 15 minutes (30 % in 15 minutes for the case 41 mm), 100 % in 75 minutes. L’Apple Watch Series 6 reaches the same capacity in 1h30.
The Oppo Watch has a battery of 300 mAh on the case 41 mm, 430 mAh on the case 46 mm. It thus announces an autonomy of 24 hours on the first Bluetooth-only model, 30h on the e-Sim version 46 mm and 46 h in Bluetooth mode for the latter. Oppo has also integrated a power saving mode to increase the lifespan of 2 at 3 weeks.
The Oppo Watch will be available on 2 October in box 41 mm black or pink from 249 euros. The model 46 mm (only in black) starts at 329 euros in Bluetooth / Wi-Fi model (availability on 2 October) and climbs to 349 euros for the cellular version which will not be on sale until 22 October.
