IFA 2020 : Honor presents two new watches, the Watch GS Pro and Watch ES

As part of the Berlin IFA fair 2020, Honor presented this Friday September 4th 2020 two new smartwatches : the Watch GS Pro and Watch ES.

You know it, our editorial staff did not go to Berlin for the IFA 2020, just like the boss of Honor who, however, took advantage of a huge room in China to present his new products in front of a few people. The company has now launched two watches in addition to a computer. These are the Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES, two products that are not intended for the same public.

The Watch GS Pro is a robust connected watch that is primarily aimed at athletes and backpackers.. This smartwatch relies above all on a remarkable theoretical autonomy, since the manufacturer announces an endurance of 25 days. However, this autonomy is 48 hours when the GPS is activated, and 100 h when it is the case of the outdoor training mode.

The watch hosts a 1.39 inch round Amoled screen with a resolution of 326 dpi. Designed to withstand harsh environments, it has also obtained 14 certification tests belonging to the military protocol MIL-STD-810G. It includes more than 100 training modes, including hiking, mountaineering, open water swimming, triathlon or skiing.

The watch offers an integrated dual GPS system and is equipped with a Route Back function to help precisely find the way back. There is also some useful information on outdoor conditions., including sunrise and sunset times, the phases of the moon and tide, as well as weather alerts. All this comes in addition to more classic data : continuous heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, SpO2 for measuring the level of oxygen in the bloodâ ?? ¦

The Honor Watch GS Pro will be available for pre-order on HiHonor from September 8 at a price of € 249.90. She will benefit from an immediate discount of € 50 from 8 to September 21. The colors offered are Charcoal Black, MarlWhite et Camo Blue.

The Honor Watch IS, very clearly inspired by the Huawei Watch Fit, is much less adventurous than the GS Pro and has a more lifestyle side, even if it is no slouch when it comes to sports functions. It sports a 1.64 inch Amoled screen, includes 95 training modes and 12 types of virtual assistant training.

It also benefits from several health and fitness monitoring features and includes a heart rate monitor.. It also allows SpO2 monitoring, remote shooting or calls from the smartphone, but also to control the music. Monitoring the menstrual cycle is also part of the game. Finally, it is water resistant (5Â ATM) for swimming.

The Honor Watch ES will be available on HiHonor from September 21 at a price of 99.90 â ?? ¬, in Meteorite Black colors, Coral Pink et Icelandic White.
