Cresselia, the Lunar Pokemon, will take over from Heatran as the Legendary Raid Boss on Tier Five raids today – finally!
Cresselia is a legendary Psychic-type Pokemon who was first introduced into the franchise in Generation IV.
Pokemon Go fans will have to work quickly if they want a shiny Cresselia, as she will only be available in that form for a week.
Before you jump right in to battle Cresselia, you need to make sure that you have a big enough team.
Cresselia promises to give a good fight, and so will need more trainers than in previous Legendary Raid battles.
To ensure you have the best chance of catching Cresselia, you want to have a team of around 3-5 trainers.
Okay, so you have your team of brave trainers, and you have selected your strongest Pokemon. Now what?
Cresselia’s catch circle is quite large and located on her face, which makes it an easy target. You want to be using the circle lock technique here to get the maximum ‘Excellent’ throws in.
Cresselia’s attack is a fluid swoop forward, at which point she will circle back to her spot, so the best time to throw your Pokeball is when she has just finished her attack.
