On the last weekly blog before it launches Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Bungie revealed details on how players will pick up older Exotics after several planets enter the Destiny Content Vault on Tuesday. The studio also previewed some upcoming patch notes, as well as a new Tower terminal for picking up old quests.

The Monument to Lost Lights Exotic Archive is a new terminal in the Tower, sitting comfortably between the current Vault terminals. Here, players can buy Exotics whose quests will leave the game on Nov. 10. Exotics like Anarchy and Tarrabah currently drop from two raids leaving the game, and Exotics like Rat King primarily come from planets like Titan — also leaving the game with Beyond Light. With these quests gone, the Monument to Lost Lights Exotic Archive will be the way players can backfill their inventories with those weapons.

While Bungie didn’t show the UI for this terminal, the studio described how players will buy some unavailable Exotics. Prices will change depending on how difficult or long the quest to get it was. Players will combine Glimmer, destination materials, Masterworking materials, and an Exotic Cipher or Ascendant Shard to purchase Exotics. For Exotics that previously came from raids, players will need a special Spoils of Conquest material — earned by completing raids still in the game.

For players who don’t want to spend their hard-earned Ascendant Shards on missing Exotics, Xur will offer a weekly quest when he shows up on Fridays, promising a new Exotic Cipher.

The Tower will also see a Quest Archive terminal. When players delete an incomplete quest from their inventory, it will land in the Quest Archive. Existing players who want to experience the New Player experience — which is also getting an overhaul in Beyond Light — can pick up that questline from the Quest Archive.

Bungie also revealed some interesting patch notes ahead of the Nov. 10 patch. Players can customize the look of their UI a bit more in terms of color, and the character creation menu will change its language a little bit — from Male and Female to Masculine and Feminine.

There are also some small adjustments and bug fixes that may play a role into players’ endgame loadouts. The studio will reveal the full patch notes on Nov. 10.
