Here are all the Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 Battle Pass skins and their special abilities, … [+] skin-styles and more.
This time, for the first time in Fortnite history, instead of a Battle Pass filled with Epicâs own creations, we have a bunch of Marvel skins. Both Avengers like Thor and Iron Man and X-Men like Storm and Wolverine are part of the Battle Pass.
There are seven Battle Pass skins and one special skin to unlock. Each of these skins have special âAwakeningâ challenges that unlock special emotes such as wielding Thorâs hammer or transforming Tony Stark into Iron Man (sorry, you wonât simply unlock Iron Man, you have to go through some hoops).
Hereâs a closer look at each of the new skins in the Season 4 Battle Pass.
If you buy the normal Battle Pass, as opposed to the more expensive bundle, youâll unlock Thor at Tier 1. Thereâs just one Tier 1 skin this time around. Weâve gotten used to there being two. Still, Thor is a pretty sweet Tier 1 character, and it makes sense with the story, since he was the first of the superheroes to land on the Fortnite island to warn of Galactusâs iminent arrival.
Itâs definitely interesting that Epic decided to make this skin Jennifer Walters instead of She-Hulk by default. You unlock the skin at Tier 22 and then seven tiers laterâif you also complete her âAwakeningâ challengeâyouâll unlock a special emote that transforms her into She-Hulk.
This is similar to the Tony Stark skin, which serves as the âTier 100â skin even though heâs unlocked at Tier 93.
Perhaps no other superhero is as appropriately named or outfitted for Fortnite as Storm. Her super power should be the ability to stay in the storm as long as she wants without taking damage!
Doctor Doom is hardly heroic. Heâs the most villainous of all this seasonâs Battle Pass skins, and he even has his own location on the map. Doom has taken over Pleasant Park in an act equal parts aggression and irony. In fact, heâs a boss there also and youâll need to take him down for one of the Season 4, Week 1 challenges. His special emote is sitting in his throne.
Master assassin and master of disguise, Mystique can unlock an emote that transforms her into other skins.
Not gonna lie, Tony Stark is super nerdy in Fortnite. Maybe itâs just the glasses. Either way, this is the non-Robert Downey Jr. version of Stark. Youâll unlock him at Tier 93 and the emote that transforms him into Iron Man at 100. I can already see next seasonâs big DC Battle Pass, with Clark Kent at Tier 93 and the emote that transforms him into Superman at Tier 100.
Wolverine appears to be the âsecretâ skin since you donât unlock him through normal Battle Pass progression. Gone are the days when these skins were actually secret. Deadpool and Aquaman were both incredibly obvious over the past couple seasons and now that weâve gone full Marvel, itâs no surprise that Wolverine isnât being kept secret either. Still, Wolverine is awesome and I canât wait to unlock him.
You can see some alternative skin styles for some of these skins in the tweets below:
Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 is off to the races. You can watch the cinematic trailer, showing all our heroes (and villains) arriving on the Fortnite island here. See those heroes in action in the Battle Pass gameplay trailer here.
