Outdoor clothing is about to get a little more attention with the latest teaser from Gucci. Hot of a premium collaboration with MM6 Maison Margiela, The North Face is back, but this time for an even more unexpected team-up with Gucci.
While collaborative releases are nothing new for TNF, having worked with names like Junya Watanabe, Supreme, Hender Scheme, and Brain Dead, to name a few, this will be a first for them in terms of working with such a large luxury fashion house.
Not known for technical outerwear, it will be interesting to see how Gucci will deviate from its traditional coats and jackets in wool and leather, and into The North Face’s world of outdoor recreation. Apart from the video teasers below, not much is know about the upcoming project, but stay tuned as we’re hoping from more news in the coming weeks.
