With FIFA 21 set to be released in just a few weeks, it’s almost time for the traditional FIFA ratings reveal, with EA recently confirming the release time.
As part of the announcement, EA did ‘leak’ some ratings and attributes of players like Mason Mount, Steven Bergwijn, Phil Foden, Sergino Dest and Rodrygo, with a reveal trailer showing a few attributes and ratings ahead of the full FIFA 21 ratings reveal.
There has been a lot of speculation about which players could be in line for a major upgrade, and which players could be downgraded too, with fans eager to see the ratings of players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski and others.
So, which players will feature in the top ten highest rated on FIFA 21? When is the FIFA ratings reveal happening? And, what is the Ratings Collective? Here is everything we know so far.

With FIFA 21 due for release at the beginning of October, EA have now confirmed the date when the first FIFA 21 Ultimate Team player ratings will be revealed.
In a tweet posted on the official EASPORTSFIFA Twitter account today, EA have confirmed that the FUT 21 player ratings reveal will begin on Thursday September 10 at 4pm UK time, but it has not been confirmed which players will have their ratings revealed, or which batch of players will be revealed.
As part of the announcement, EA also posted a promotional video for the FIFA 21 rating reveal, which when slowed down, revealed a few FUT 21 player ratings ahead of the official announcement, with Mason Mount, Steven Bergwijn, Phil Foden, Sergino Dest and Rodrygo all featuring.
Here are our predictions for the top ten highest rated players on FIFA 21, with their rating shown in brackets.
Other players like to get an upgrade include Mohamed Salah, Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Ferland Mendy and others.
When EA announced the release date and time for the FIFA 21 ratings reveal, they also released a teaser video which featured a number of FUT ambassadors, including Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
But there’s also a very interesting new logo featured, with the words ‘The Ratings Collective’. So, what does this mean?
In short, we don’t know yet? It’s likely that The Ratings Collective will be a selection of FUT Ambassadors who will help announce some of the new FIFA 21 ratings on Thursday at 4pm UK time. So, expect to see Erling Haaland, Alexander-Arnold, Joao Felix and Kylian Mbappe feature in whatever they have planned.
EA have confirmed that FIFA 21 has an official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020, but some editions will allow you to play FIFA 21 slightly earlier than this.
If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC you’ll be able to play from October 6, 2020, with the Standard Edition allowing fans to play from the game’s official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020.
