Cyberpunk 2077 is now less than a month away from release, and as the November launch date draws nearer, CD Projekt Red is releasing more concrete details about the game. Their latest confirmation is the full list of languages with Cyberpunk 2077 will feature language support for, including both voice-over dialogue and subtitles.
According to CD Projekt Red, the Cyberpunk 2077 language support will differ depending on the region where the game is bought, at least when it comes to the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game. (The studio has released language support details specifically for consoles, rather than PC, which may offer less region-specific options.) In North and South America, Cyberpunk 2077 will offer voice-over for three languages; English, French, and Brazilian Portuguese. Subtitles will be available for all three of those languages, plus Latin American Spanish and Polish. The next few versions of the game are a bit more complex, as they cover two different regions of Europe.
Finally, two further versions of Cyberpunk 2077 will be available in Asia. The first is available exclusively in Japan and will simply feature English & Japanese voice-over and subtitle options. The second, meanwhile, will be available in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwain, and Thailand. This version of the game will feature English and Chinese voice-over support. In addition, it will feature subtitles for English, Simplified Chinese, Thai, and Traditional Chinese.
Finally, although none of these versions currently offer Korean voice-over, CD Projekt Red has stated that details about Korean VO are “coming soon”. As such, it’s possible that Korean VO support will be added post-launch.
