The Audi driver was left trapped inside the car and had to be freed by emergency services following the incident outside a Sainsbury’s superstore in Sevenoaks
A McLaren supercar worth £150,000 was badly damaged following a crash with an Audi in a supermarket car park.
The roof of the McLaren along with the windscreen and the front of the car were left badly smashed up, while the Audi was also badly damaged in the incident outside the Sainsbury’s superstore on Otford Road in Sevenoaks, Kent.
It is unclear how the Audi got into that position, but photos from the scene show both cars sustained significant damage.
There are no reports of injuries in the collision, but the Audi driver was trapped inside the car and had to be freed by emergency services, a witness said.
“I didn’t actually hear the crash – I just noticed a large group of people in the car park.
“It took a minute for the coin to drop that the Audi was on its side.”
The McLaren 570GT Coupe involved in the incident has a £157,055 price tag when new, according to the car review website Parkers.
Top Gear, in a review of the car, described it as “a supercar that drives beautifully, is hugely potent and has a real sense of occasion”.
