According to a Blizzard social media post, the next Overwatch Archives event has a release date of 6 April on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch et PC

There is no official launch time, but Overwatch events usually start at 18 BST hours in UK.

As with almost all Overwatch events, archives last three full weeks, ending on 27 avril.

New skins will likely be revealed before launch, so check back regularly for Overwatch updates.

“While the event is active, earn archive loot boxes containing skins, highlight intros, emotes and sprays inspired by moments from Overwatch's past”

Not only do they make the missions a little harder, but it gives fans the chance to win exclusive rewards

Speaking of rewards, the best part of any new Overwatch event is the ability to unlock special skins and items by earning loot boxes

“Travel seven years in the past and join an Overwatch strike team fighting in the streets of King’s Row to quell an uprising led by Null Sector, a bunch of rogue omnis”, do we read in the official description

“Play as one of four Overwatch Agents in Story Mode, Bring a hero of your choice into the fray with All Heroes mode or endure the deadly modifications introduced by challenge missions.”

Tracer’s first mission was followed by a Blackwatch challenge, as well as a pursuit mission in the streets of Havana
