Both cards use the Rockchip RK3399 System on Chip 64 bits, composed of a dual-core ARM Cortex-A72 operating at 2 GHz and a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 running at 15 GHz The GPU is an ARM Mali-T860 MP4 running at 800 MHz, and dual channel LPDDR4 RAM options from 2 Go / 4 Go will be available
The expected performance gain over the original Tinker Board is 15x and Asus supports Debian 9 Linux and Android 10, although Android support is not expected until Q1 2021 We do not yet know the prices or the official release date., but the first Tinker Board cost 60 $ and it seems likely that Asus will try again to hit a similar price, especially since the Raspberry Pi 4 of 8 Go costs 75 $
Meanwhile, the latest product with the name Raspberry Pi is a keyboard with a Raspberry Pi 4 inside and offering everything you need, except a screen for less than 100 $, or just the keyboard alone for 70 $
