Coronation Street villain Scott Emberton threatens to strike again tonight (October 30) as he desperately tries to stop Johnny Connor from reporting him to the police.
A dramatic hour-long episode will see Scott (Tom Roberts) hold Johnny’s wife Jenny at gunpoint, just days after committing armed robbery at the Bistro.
Friday’s edition kicks off with a hope of reconciliation for Johnny (Richard Hawley), who recently shocked his wife Jenny with confessions over his recent predicament and his dark past.
Just when it seems like Jenny may be willing to forgive Johnny, malicious Scott reappears and fills in some of the details that his former friend had conveniently missed out.
Jenny is horrified as she hears the story of how Johnny left a security guard for dead many years ago. To make matters worse, Emma Brooker overhears part of the conversation at the pub.
Later, Johnny decides that it’s time to face up to his past mistakes and heads off to the police station in order to make a confession, which would also implicate Scott.
Scott is desperate to stop this from happening and points his gun at Jenny at The Rovers, threatening her life.
On the phone to Johnny, evil Scott threatens to shoot Jenny unless he abandons his confession plan and returns home immediately.
Johnny has no doubt that Scott will follow through with his threats, as the schemer has already shot Craig Tinker this week. Can Johnny find a way to protect Jenny and bring Scott to justice?
