Mobility & accuracy are at the forefront of any great Warzone loadout, and the meta is always centered around the absolute best weapons you can use that showcase skill while also being reliable and fun. For Season 6, we’ll be using a MP5/Kilo 141 hybrid loadout. Next to the weapon notes will be some possible changes, depending on your playstyle.
For this weapon, we’re going to be focusing on a medium-weight, high-accuracy build. The Kilo is the best AR in Warzone at long ranges at the time of writing. Here’s the full loadout:
The MP5 is the premiere “tryhard” gun, with plenty of range and mobility. It’s easy to control, fun to use and has a high skill ceiling when combined with well-timed movements.
That’ll be it for this loadout! Feel free to swap whatever attachments you feel don’t fit your playstyle, but overall this is the average setup you’ll find higher skilled players using.
While popular streamer “TimTheTatman” was live, he showed the community a brand new glitch that can be performed in Warzone when using loadout drops. It makes you completely invisible to other players, and as you can see in the clip, Tim was running directly at another player who did not react to his presence.
The exploit is easy to replicate, all you need to do is purchase a loadout drop then crouch where the marker is. After the loadout falls on top of you, you’ll be stuck inside – yet completely invisible. Once you get out of the crate, you’ll continue to be invisible to other players.
While this seems daunting, there is some good news. Players are only invisible for a limited time. The bad news? This could happen at any time in one of your games, especially around loadout drop areas from enemy teams. Worse, this can happen to players who don’t even intend on performing this bug, since all you really need to do is accidentally have a loadout crate fall on you.
There really isn’t any counter to this, and the best way of someone possibly exploiting this is saving a loadout drop for the final circle. If a player is stuck in a loadout drop, they are also immune to any damage if their body is fully stuck in the crate.
If they are not fully in the crate, other parts of their body may be visible – so that’s the main way to counter a player doing this.
Call of Duty have confirmed that Warzone will continue to play on the Verdansk map after the integration with Black Ops Cold War.
In an announcement on November 5, Call of Duty released details on the future of Warzone. It detailed how Warzone will integrate with Black Ops Cold War and what that means for Modern Warfare.
In this announcement, it was revealed that Verdansk will still be the Warzone map after the integration.
Call of Duty said: “…as the Cold War heats up across Verdansk (and beyond) in the months and seasons ahead.”
Operators from both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War will be together in Verdansk as Treyarch and Raven Software take the reigns.
We are still waiting for details on what Verdansk will look like after the integration. Black Ops Cold War is primarily set in the 1980s and Modern Warfare in the 2010s. It’s possible that Verdansk will be updated to accommodate for a time shift, or modern-day Verdansk will be impacted by the events of Cold War.
A new island location has also been teased for Warzone. In the Black Ops Cold War Season 1 roadmap, the Warzone section teases a ‘Classified Warzone Experience’ on December 10. Within redacted text is the word ‘Island’ and before that, a Russian word that translates the phrase to read ‘Rebirth Island.’
Black Ops fans will remember Rebirth Island as the Soviet base in which Nova 6 gas was developed. It could also be a reference to Alcatraz Island.
Warzone’s ‘Rebirth Island’ could be off the coast of Verdansk, or perhaps something entirely new coming later.
The Uzi is one of the strongest ground-loot weapons in Warzone with its high damage and range potential.
If you build your own, you’ll find yourself with one of the most versatile SMGs in the game. With a slow fire rate but high damage, this weapon will reward accurate shots.
Pair this weapon with a Sniper or Marksman Rifle to dominate at all ranges. It can be used to defend against enemies at close-medium range but is also useful for following up on Sniper shots to get the down.
Here are the best builds to maximize the Uzi’s potential in both Warzone and Modern Warfare’s multiplayer.
This Uzi is built to be a jack of all trades. If you’re looking for a purely close-range weapon, you’re better off using a shotgun or fast-firing SMG. However, if you’re running a Sniper Rifle as a primary weapon, you want a secondary that’s effective at close range but will also handle itself at slightly further ranges.
To do this, we’re going with the Monolithic Suppressor and the 16.5″ Factory Carbine barrel. The Monolithic Suppressor vastly increases the range potential as well as keeping you off the minimap. The 16.5″ Factory Carbine barrel isn’t the longest available, so it increases range potential and recoil control without the maximum penalty to speed.
To boost the weapon’s close-range effectiveness, the Merc Foregrip is the perfect addition. It boosts hip-fire accuracy, helping at the closest ranges, and also improves movement speed. A reduction in vertical recoil also helps at all ranges.
With armored players in Warzone, you’ll want to increase the mag size to 50 Rounds. This will allow you to take on multiple enemies without reloading, or quickly finish a kill to prevent a self-revive.
The iron sights on the Uzi are somewhat obstructive, so it’s worth adding a red dot sight for extra accuracy. If you feel comfortable with iron sights, however, consider using a 5mW Laser to increase hip-fire accuracy, boosting its close-range effectiveness further.
The Uzi is an extremely strong choice for multiplayer. Its benefits in Warzone are amplified in multiplayer’s constant action on smaller maps. This weapon can eliminate a player with two headshots so aim high for maximum damage potential.
This Uzi build maximizes its speed to keep up with faster SMGs while boosting its damage potential. The 13.1″ First Responder barrel and .41 AE 32-Round Mags both increase the weapons range and damage. These allow it to compete with both SMGs and Assault Rifles.
To speed it up, giving it a further edge, the Tac Laser and Merc Foregrip are applied. The Tac Laser vastly increases ADS time, allowing you to quickly snap on to targets. The Merc Foregrip increases mobility and hip-fire accuracy, improving its effectiveness at close range.
And finally, the Rubberized Grip Tape keeps the weapon tighter in hand, allowing for recoil control. With the Uzi’s slow fire rate, accuracy is vital to its success.
If you want a versatile, high damage SMG for your loadout in Warzone and multiplayer, the Uzi is an extremely strong choice.
