Shoppers can get their hands on the popular Alexa smart speaker for less than £1 when they sign up to Amazon’s music streaming service.
If you join Amazon Music Unlimited for one month – which is priced at £7.99 for Prime members or £9.99 for non-Prime members – then you’ll be sent the Echo Dot in the post costing you 99p.
The deal is available on the Amazon website here, just make sure you select the combined deal and not ‘device only’.
Once you’re signed up to Amazon Music Unlimited you can cancel your subscription at any time so you won’t be charged for any additional months, or you can keep it and link it to your Echo Dot and listen to ad-free music at any time.
The deal comes just days after new and existing Spotify Premium users were offered a free Google Nest, a smart speaker usually priced at £49.99.
Last month Amazon launched its summer sale and slashed the price of its Echo Dot to £20 for Prime members £25 for non-Prime members.
Typically the Echo Dot is available at a cheaper price during the retail giant’s Black Friday sale which usually lasts for around a week.
This year’s Black Friday is officially on November 27, with plenty of tech deals expected to be available on Amazon alongside other big retailers Currys PC World and Argos.
