On Xbox Series X|S, backwards compatible titles load faster than ever. Earlier this week, for example, we saw how The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt skips entire loading screens whenever fast travel is used.
Now, we’ve got yet another look at just how quick load times are on Microsoft’s next-generation system, with the Xbox 360 title, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. As noted by Twitter user FreakinClever, this game “loads so fast”, it is “impossible” to even see the L.O.G. load screens.
Rare responded to this brief clip, joking how it would tweet all of these screens players could no longer see.
The improved load times on Xbox Series X|S is all thanks to the SSD. Just yesterday, it was also discovered how a lot of older third-party titles such as Destiny 2 and Monster Hunter: World actually load faster on the Xbox Series X than the PlayStation 5.
